I had a thought occur to me, as the firmware revision have proceeded the bitrates on the files have increased. I was wondering what kind of sd card are ya using, and have you tried saving short clips to the internal mem. I've been lookin for my old memeory card its an unrated card that has a really slow transfer. i wanted to see if i could reproduce that error.

Excellent question.

Taken out the sdhc card class unknown love to say class 4. a polaroid.

the external at 3 secs stops shows tw ocodes and time.

taken card out used internal memory all seems to go pass 15 secs works.

SO it is said they have somehow fooled wit hthe speed of the cam. I may have to go out and purchase a sdhc card at a fster level.

or try another one besides the two I have

If we're going to see newer Fw, those who do not have faster SDHC cards will be in for a suprize.

I have the same problem with FW 2602 with this
slow SD card error stopping the recording.

Especially with SDHC cards class 4,
the normal SD cards, even slower 1 GB cards work just fine !

Regarding taking single still frame pictures during
video recording...

Is this called the Contineous Shoot function ?

Yes, in my 2602 I can not shoot single frames
while shooting video !

That was fixed with 2703 ?

I really need this ! Damn, I thought I made something wrong
when I was testing my 2602 firmware version...

2. Can the focus be locked while full optical zoom was already
done ?
So if I have zoomed onto something with full optical zoom
(no digital zoom yet) , how can I lock then the focus at this
position ?

Many thanks.
Regards, Stefan.

Continous shot can be set at a 10 shot per second by going into the menu, allows 10 shots per seconed when ON, in hte off Postion it will allow a SINGLE burst.

Dual Recording is what you are referring to will allow a snap shot of low resolution of video only.

In order for both featuresCont SINGLE, BURST, Dual rec shot. the video resolution must be setat HD720P 60, or lower using HD1080P enables it.

SO choosing FW2602 will work.

Q1. answered above

Q2. AF can be locked, on any focus range optical or digital any chosen focal range.

In order to do this you have two options . menu locate AF by going up on mouse above stabilization.

or

Right on mouse in preview of Live feed.

As I have found out INTmemory no issue yet, but Class two, and Class four failure to lowwspeed shown up on lower Fw, it seems that once you load newer FW ratherwriting in the INt mem it transfers issues to the Bios a guess.

I wounder if a class 6 is the highest or ultraII equals to a class 6 I will wait for my 128mb card at home. As emailed, placed a clip and wonder if the lab is trying to figure it out, no reply. means waiting............

So Dual Recording is not working in1080p mode ?

I guess I tried it also in 720p60 mode, but it did not work too
there with the FW2602.

I have to retry again.
Just pressing the mouse button in the center for
Dual Recording ?

P.S. I have forgotten the manual at my girlfriendĀ“s place...

Regards, Stefan.

class 6 is the highest, they are rated at 30MB a second. Not bad for a memory card. I use the cheap trancend ones from amazon and they work great. did you guys try formating the cards with the camera before use, just wondering
