Did a excellent lil test, filmming in a lowest level, just placing hand in front for3-5 secs and allowinghtecam to see. you can see it lost light, again even more. this some how tricks the senser, trick is not the word or fool. Shows how poor the cam hadels a low level shot miss calculates. to get it to work correctly again pointing the cam back to a ligher object.

I wonder if, just if tossinga light to the sensorwill help tell the cam hey i gota light on you will you go lighter LOl, should go darker, not lighter. in this case lighter. everything done with the cam is always backwards with the cam. yep my caffeen fix is needed

AHD-Z700 Fw 2900 Interior model number, will a guest come foward with a supplied picture, they can erase out their serial, if do not know how Pm the pic.
GVS stops after 2503.

For I to Do my best in showing, you cannot get better then best.

Poor focus, poor zoom in digital, wobble is present, oh the horrible sound that is caused, by total distortion ( do not touch the sound)
A perfect BLUE night sky,and a ruined shot, no words. remember TEN firmware corrections, and only TWO on the USA version That has to tell you something.........

Default Hummingbird Moth

I uploaded a video of a Hummingbird Moth taken with my Aiptek GVS.

http://vimeo.com/5515601

Again, the sound cuts halfway through. Anyone else noticed this with Vimeo and the Aiptek GVS? Seems to be only Vimeo as it doesn't occur when I upload them to somewhere else that uses a flash player.

I guess I'll just have to convert them to a more vimeo friendly format in future!

Congradulations Aiptek, they heard us.

This is the GVS thread, not AHD-Z700
thosewho are looking for Firmware can now go directly to the Aiptek.come and on the main page that opens download the public FW2901 firmware made for the cam.

again thank you for the ear.

ever read those CR mags consumer report. telling you what is the best etc..... and the very last page has a number of bloopers. well lets chcok one up for Aiptek again, those who are going to want to update the firmware will get stuck.

The File is named correctly, but the .Bin is incorrect.
FILE2901.BIN must be renamed to sd_v5z5s.bin in order to flash, incorrectly naming the file may or may not allow flash, and can crash the cam, and calling support for a request for a fix.

I hope this makes sense to ya, and can be corrrected. they monitor and will corect LOL
