I was wondering, how did you cure the red problem, did you adjust color balance post, or firmware update?

There are a few, but it is better than that 600 footage. Tye reds are still pronounced, in your clip, I think target, as you pass the hand towels the color suddenly saturates, so the white-balance system can do it, but it is not configured right. Might be good to experiment with color with the white balance settings. Bit when you go out on the open road your realise that all near fluorescent/saturated colors blow out (which I virtually have not seen since the JVC HD1 or several years ago) I think caused in part by reduced altitude. the skies turning while are also an indication fo this. The pinkish reds, reminds me of the Sony HC-1 of a few years back (something apparently difficult to deal with). I notice the fly-screen edge crawl, but it is only in a few areas. I notice the patterning on the apples, maybe in relation to aggressive compression. Scores better than the 600, maybe with firmware configuration adjustment better again (to correct gamma curves, but unless the latitude problem is caused by clipping that is not going away). Maybe it is because I am viewing the 720p60 clips now it is better in latitude and such forth over the 1080p clips.

I might add the color from the micron sensors used previously, though still lacking SN and some latitude, and with rolling shutter, was more neutral and better rendered, if the manufacturer choose to, which some others did not.

I still wonder what color filter array is sued on this sensor, to produce the white skys and fluorescent reds etc. What sensor is listed on the special system configuration screen now Fishy?

The night shot was appreciable, thanks.

One of the reasons I am interested in the lens replacement project for the ahd, was that we (elsewhere) had shown changing the lens improves a number fo issues even apparent saturation levels. If it is not eh setting in camera, but also the lens the saturation might come up. Was there any previouse Aiptek HD lens that did such close macros, if not, then it could be new lens provider too. A lens can also affect color balance, through I don't know if it would cause the fluorescent/saturated blowout seen in reds yellows etc. it might be worth seeing if it changed much in the footage from the existing project.

Merry Christmas to all.

I have ordered the toy camera, still don't know the details.

Months ago I had a feeling we would be seeing something good next year, now I know what it is.

Youtube washes out the color, does it allow downloads of the original these days?

The brightest colors, and the reds, not the green so much, are popped, but when the exposure came down the rest of the colors became more saturated. I still think it is worth trying a IR filter.
