The built-in lithium ion battery is said to last 85 minutes per charge. Not bad. But I suspect the lack of a more flexible type of battery might bother some.

They apparently record to Sony's Memory Stick PRO Duo cards. That's a pain. But still... they look like an amazing deal. I can't wait to see some actual video. They're said to shoot...

1. 1440 x 1080 progressive
2. 1280 x 720 progressive
3. 640 x 480 progressive

...so lots of options.
