Does it really feature 1920 x 1080 resolution? I suppose we'll find out soon enough.

My guess is that this model really records 1440 x 1080 H.264... just like the other hybrids we've seen so far.

Apparently, my guess is incorrect.

CNET is also reporting that this model features a 1920 x 1080 resolution. That's in contrast to a second DXG model that still records in the older 1440 x 1080 frame size.

So its seems that DXG is the first Camcorder of 2009 with video resolution of
1920 X 1080.

Would anyone know what Video sensor they are using?

Also this DXG is the same Camcorder from an OEM selling on Ebay for
$199.00US shipping included.

I would like to know if someone has already bought one or is thinking of
getting one?

Have a look at the picture below

Greetings Everyone:

I'm very excited that DXG is the first pocket Camcorder with 1920 X 1080

video resolution.

I would like know does anyone think that DXG has set the bar too high in

bringing out this HD camcorder at a low price of $180.00US?

This DXG Camcorder has:

Digital Zoom features
Image stablization
Flash and LED light for Video

So if other companies like Aiptek, DigiLife, SVP, or Jazz would create

a competitive model to this DXG, would they add features and price it higher,

or bring out a model at a lower price.

Seems 2009's price war has already begun.

Regards Robert
