I have researched a little bit and I am tempted to get this pocket camcorder as a gift for my father. All I want is decent quality, extreme simplicity of use - no finicky controls. I know in terms of features Vado HD falls short compared with e.g. Sanyo camcorders but that is not my concern, because as stated above - the simplier - the better. Price is an issue, too. The quality of HD footage captured with this camcorder looks good to me based on clips I found on vimeo.

Anyone who used this camcorder - do you know -

- how many hours of HD recording can you store on the device?
- how long does battery last?
- how responsive this device is - I mean how long does it take to power it up and start shooting?

Any other comments welcome
