Hi All,
I looked yeasterday at a cheap new camcoder from
Jay-tech.de

http://www.jay-tech.de/jaytech/servl...54294bbf:-65a4

It is one simular to the Aiptek GVS one , but it has HDMI output instead
of YUV , but it misses the audio input jack...

I almost had purchased it, but I guess I better go with the Aiptek
GVS ( AHDZ700 over here in Germany) as I better need a good
external audio input instead of the HDMI output...

If only the AHD Z700 would have an HDMI output, that would be really great,
cause I just bought a 26 inch LCD monitor also with HDMI input.

Anyway, I will probably go with the AHD Z700, but first I will have a look at
the new Sanyo cameras.

I really want to record from time to time also a rock concert, so I need
a good external microphone.

Regards, Stefan.

Hi Stefan,

With a "standard" 5MP CMOS sensor, 3" LCD and 5x optical zoom, it could be an okay hybrid camera, BUT probably sucks in lowlight and autofocus.

Yeah I wonder why Aiptek hasn't implemented hdmi output in their top cameras yet. The Z700 is a pretty good camera in it's price level, but again don't expect miracles in lowlight.

You should definantly check out the new Sanyo models, as they are released and available in Germany. But only the high end models have mic-input.

yep it looks simular, and glad not just I knows how tp copy a pic to the site :G

the question is:

will this cam be in the correct form of operation and not tweaked to a incorrect one. where when started you do not have to step further back to fall off a step, walk etc

looks good but buttons may be a tad smaller.....
