Interesting, I guess this is sort of Aipteks answer to the flip video type of cameras which include the Kodaks and Vado etc. If the video is any good and to be fair to Aiptek I don't expect it not to be, this would fill the gap for anyone wanting a cellphone sized device that shot 720p video. Affordable cellphones that will shoot 720p video are still way off in the future.

Why do you say this means they are moving backwards? I don't think this is meant to compete with their regular cams and 720p is plenty of resolution for this device as long as it's very inexpensive. This would easily fit in a pocket or purse. Remember the smaller and cheaper it is, the more likely you are going to take it adhoc.

not just those words LOL

pen cam been out since 1990's, the style is what they stil have left over, and best to go foward with a slimmer one. there are a few i will not show, or mention, and they are by far better and sell around 80.00 with a rotating head . not SONY.

their move is a step foward and steps backwards.
