Default Strange Aiptek GVS USB problem

My Action GVS will not shut down after the usb has been connected to the XP computer.
I safely remove hardware and he Aiptek top light remains on but it will do nothing until I remove the battery.
It just locks up.
Any ideas??

Thank you,
Bill Ruppert

Welcome aboard Bill......

cam with no sd card in does this happen?

not plugged into the pc:

I can only say turn cam on no sd card, go to mode settings mouse up to Format. camera gets formatted, it may say will delete the internal memory. then try cam again.

without the cam in the pc can you format your sdhc card, makesure you save whatever filesare on it first.

if so try that, then place sdhc card back in cam and again format wit hte cam.

then plug that baby in.

then if it still persists, I say return for a new one. you may have a defect.

camwill crash for reasons. and is quie normal. it takes a lot to make it crash, but if the bios iscurrupted, or thesd card is incompatable, and there is no way to find that out. you will get acrash and it looks like

the lcd gets faded to white, cam just freezes, a reset is needed by removing the battery.

I am no pro, nor have I heard anyone wit htheseissues, you are thefirst.
but hey you have support team, seewhatthey can do? they're open Mon-fri west coast time so they'r closed no .

let us know
