Research compare and sample. a true beginner in the Hybrid section, exactly the correct place.

most cams today do quicktime.mov. and .mp4 foprmats h264 codecs arenow becoming a easiertask, but we must have up to date pcs 3.0 or higher,

the video in vimeo is well uh of standard quality or due to vimeo.

many thanks fishy, yeah wow ......

my vimeo was basically to show the subject matter I like to play with and edit (lol understand the quality of images .... thats why I want better)

that clips looks excellent ...
aiptek HD ? doesnt look too expensive either ...
do you think the HD-50Z would compare with it or is aiptek more reliable ?
what format was it taken from the camera in, was it .MOV ?
and how big was the clip (in Meg) just for comparrison ?
if you put Higher Definition through an editor does it hold the Definition or does the editor take it back down? or does it depend on the editor
I`m using Corel Video Studio Pro ....

apologies for all the questions ....

cheers mate

Norm

bitrate i am not a pro at, I am happy period. the cam here i am sure is double that, the cam is the A-HD 720p 1/2 the power i am sure. so a older pc may handle it.

its two years old and my memory 1 meg per 10 sec 30 sec 30 meg. give or take depends on info filmed.
Quicktime.mov h264 edited with magix, so I am sure coral will do fine.

hope that helps out i am now filming wit hthe kodak zi8 and doing my observatrions

Hi folks,

Welcome to the forum partyzane. Great videos. Well done in editing. Looks like it was filmed with a pro camcorder but low-end hd hybrids can sometimes reach same level. Wow, Wellington is a very artistic city. Always wanted to go to New Zealand.

Thanks, adalfa. I agree, the picture quality and the colours are pretty realistic and vibrant. Some people, who saw the videos, have decided to buy that camcorder. I even did not believe, that this little cheap handy cam can do such cool things.
There are some cons:
lack of wide angle
bit rate is limited to 10mbs
weak accumulator
inability to screw in filters
no manual focus

can't remember anymore
