Default Creative labs: vado 3rd gen video camcorder.

read up on the full specs and demo at the site
http://us.creative.com/products/prod...ct=19070&nav=4

watch some vado videos, you'll get a kick out of this , a company going out of its way LOL.

Vado releases at HSN.com 130 - oh take that penny away , sorry. 129.99 free shipping, debute is over.

Ths Hd720P 4 gig cam has the External sterio port on top, and a wide angle lense.

STOP!
I have no proof, but wouldn't 1280x720 be 16:9 ration, and can be concidered a wider angle, while the company may be using a wide angle lens, unsure for now, I can give an opinion, I am happy to test out Creative Pm me please.

The Stills are as well not orginal, but of the video frame rate 1280x720, in jpeg form, still sound interested.

Has a 3.3V low lux, whatever that is. not a pro at every single detailed info blah, blah, blah....

If you take note, it nearly resembles (cough) Kodak, and more the Jvc. Who wants little shapes as designs, I do, I want my own personal skin, wonder if it's metal, or plastic. well Jvc is metal they say.
Simplicity it is press one Button, no forgetting, or are there 5 other ones that are seliphane or sensitive to the touch, that I say P A S S . As in the specs there are other controls, and lets again not forget the ext mic, and Earphone plug, and usb cable, they even give you an extention cable (cough) Kodak does not.

Well look online no manual to further talk about. some video, we have to rely on older stuff , till a few days you'll see new ones.

Is it his Worth `180.00 while ALL cams are now at that price. Just wish the cam was a bit less, then, and maybe the I think about it.

thank you and hope you decide what you like best.

vado shows a commercial of thumb bending , kid jumping in pool and that really wins me over LOL. no words at all guess its how business is done Act stupid sells big.

Looks interesting. Here's a link to a 3D demo:

Their photos are too big.

They are clearly playing catch-up with Kodak on the features. But I see plenty of rolling shutter and shaky footage right in the intro. And they are doing AV output, headphones output, and microphone input all through the same jack! At least it is on the top, though, so you don't need to use a right-angle adapter.

With an MSRP of $179.99 for the 3rd-gen Vado HD, Kodak has nothing to sweat about, except maybe for those who will want the Creative just because it has a built-in wide angle lens.

I don't get why they didn't put in 1080p resolution. Well they would lose the wide angle. I guess for a lot of people wide angle is still more important than 1080p as 720p is still more than enough.

Memorex has jumped on the Flip-like camera wagon. The Memorex MyVideo HD and also a non HD version. Looks nice but sucks bigtime in lowlight as the colors wash out.

It's pretty hard to top Kodak's Zi8. I'm happy with both of mine.

New test clips of the 3rd-Gen Vado HD are coming online from Japan.

It has the typical rolling shutter, and the internal mono mic sounds tinny (no bass)...

It gets better when used with an external stereo mic:

Low light sensitivity is very good -- maybe even better than the Zi8 -- but it also has lens flare on bright lights:

It is compitition for sure, has the flare 100%, and glad to see it is normal LOL.

I guess you get waht you pay for

Looks like someone is already trying to sell a pre-production 3rd gen Vado HD on eBay. Notice the lack of a serial number or bar code. Buyer beware: You might get this one cheap, but I doubt Creative will honor any warranty on it!
