When people walk into a store and say how much better that is then what we have, we have want one and we can afford it. It is daunting. I bought a nice professional color balanced screen with good brightness and color at a good price. TV's were one then two generations ahead, but my TV was still good, and good enough, but these new LED 3D TV's are pretty good. I had planned on converting to cheap 3D LED DLP sets, but they did not get released here. What I did want was the cheap Laser TV (has 3D based on Australian LaserTV tech) that was to be released years ago for $1700 (released late for $7000). But now TV is hitting it's peak, past SHD/UHD, 3D/auto 3D thee is not much to do apart from surround and walk through 3D.

LED LCD TV's usually promise over 100% NTSC color probably going up to around 140% (I have not kept up with advances). LED DLP TV's promise something like 140%-170% color, and Laser TV around 200% color, which is about as much as the human eye can see. OLED+others TV's promise lower power, lower price but maybe nothing over these TV's (however some will be similar to LCD LED TV's in color and/or brightness, others might get to LTV I haven't kept up). LTV also can drastically drop in price, approaching what a printed OLED TV could be. I imagine that many normal people will not appreciate the difference between 140%/170% and 200% color that much, so professionals and enthusiasts might prefer the screens (except they can be cheap). So things and the need to upgrade so much are coming to an end. We can expect 3D auto TV (no glasses) or SHD (8MP) 3D TV next, depending.

The Pentax splitter sits in front of a 52mm thread lens and sends the right hand image to the right side of the film, the left hand to the left of the film.

DXG, have they got a HD one yet? FullHD p50, 24mb/s (60mb/s is preferable, like Bluray 3D, but I would be wishing for a long time ) with Sony backlit exmor sensor that is what I want.

I meant links to DXG's camera, but here is a new thread:

http://forums.steves-digicams.com/hy...camcorder.html

The question is, why are they sticking a plastic animal on their LCD screen .

I was just blindly picking out a link so I could get to the forums to post a thread about the new Ambarella 3D system, and I happened to pick this one. http://forums.steves-digicams.com/hy...ml#post1172977
