Well the hybrid camera looks(lol looks unmistakingly similar to Sony HD camcorders) ok but the Pico projectors only outputs in VGA resolution(to my knowledge), which is kind of pointless imo. The Aiptek Pocket Cinema Z20 has also a built-in Pico projector that outputs in VGA resolution.

Yet another generic Chinese camcorder, this time with an extra frill.

And even forgetting all the disadvantages of these cameras... the article says the projected image is only 15 lumens. Most video projectors sold today are at least 1000 lumens! So either that number is a mistake, or this toy "projector" is going to produce an extremely dim image, requiring a totally pitch black room to watch it in.

No. Pico projectors have 10, 12, 15 lumen. 1000 lumen for such projectors is nonsens.

Hmmmm, Nikon 1100pj with built in projector, 14 mpixel and video 1280x720 looks better ...

Nikon 1100pj, projector 14 lumen

Nikon 1000pj, projector 10 lumen

.

Seen this, a projector manufacturer regularly sends me their new releases via email. I would be interesting to know the specification of codec and bit rates.
