This last video doesn't tell me much - it is not awful - but it is not bitingly sharp either.

However it is not a very good video to show problems - the opening frames have the rooftops and more distance building - this may cause the some difficulties as the camera may not know what to focus on. The panning is a bit too fast, resulting in some pretty choppy/jerky video - this is very hard to judge if anything is blurry or sharp.

If you say: "shooting is done under the same conditions" -
where is the video from the good Zx5 to compare
so we can more clearly see what it is that you are unhappy with?

It is indeed good.

BUT it is hard to compare the videos from the "bad" Zx5 -
- as I already said started with some close by rooftops which may have caused the camera problems on what to focus on, then the panning to the right was fast causing very jerky/choppy video. - neither of these are really focus problems.

It should not be hard to hold BOTH cameras and film the same scene simultaneously, and then check both videos on the computer screen to see if one really is better than the other.

If you do see an obvious difference - please post both the videos for us to look at?

Thanks
