Don't forget the original Acer with 4kp24. Still slow frame and data rates.

The G5s now turns out to have a 8 core version, 4*2.1ghz +4*1.5ghz, why not 4kp50/60. That nut over ru is still going on about it, but interesting to follow. Found out a site called red shark publishes some interesting stuff on camera technology.

Cinedroid has gone open source I hear, and development abandoned because of phones using different hardware. Not really a problem if you are just making it compatible with a G5s.

Kinefinity has released a cheap 4k mini and 6k max cinema cameras. BMD has dropped the price of their production and pocket cinema cameras. The 4K production is now $2995.

There is some mention of cineform connected with kinefinity, but I am unsure how it fits in, it seems to record to something else. Cineform is a top recording format, would love to have a pocket camera with that.

I think I read that a Nikon is coming with 4k, maybe a 1 model. Unfortunately the price over here might be so close yo a gh4 to make it not worth it (again). You get 1 models at nice prices over there.

Toms hardware is posting rumor summaries on the latest top phones coming out on their news section (the mobile website version has less news). So you might get a heads up on new camera features there (they seem to be posting summaries regularly).
