Creative DiVi CAM 525D

This appears to be a rebranded Digilife DDV-1000.

Yes you're right, it does seem like a digilife 1000 / ispan 920 clone.

Maybe this may indicate a possible firmware upgrade for us 920 owners in the future.

Something new added 6/29/06 on Mustek Direct - the DV536. This is a odd duck with a lense/sensor assembly that can be rotated 90 degrees, making the camera look like a still camera.

The DV536 was removed from the website on July 10. An email replyfrom customer service stated it won't be available until August.

A special thanks to the ever-vigilant participants who spot new hybrids.

Since I recently overcame all the roadblocks in creating movies from my 2-year collection of clips and stills, and getting those movies all the way onto dvd and video tape, I've been extremely busy working on that stuff. One thing that has taken a back seat is updating the Hybrid List. So if anyone knows of any cameras I've neglected to add, please post their names here.

I know I have to add these:
Mustek DV536
Digilife DDV-XT16i and DDV-C340

Any more?

Has anyone heard of or have any experince with the Hanshing 5.0 MP Camera

Are the Hanshing units decent? I have an excellent (for my needs) Canon Powershot A40 that is great for stills but I am looking for something that will allow me to capture longer video (A40 = 10secs) of my daughter on horseback (at shows, lessons, etc).

Thanks.

I'm not sure but I've asked for further details. It was posted on a local buy/sell web site. I have attached the picture they posted with the ad.
