hehe HEEEEEEEEEE fishy you are soooooo wrong (or not no you cant be wrong you moderator you:-))

They aren't REPAIRING it, they are EXCHANGING IT for a new one! So assuming they recieved a fresh shipment of MPVRs within the last week (not TOOOO much of a stretch) I could very well have the newer updated model...unless Aiptek realized their mistake...and no nonononono im getting 8MP dddddddang it! Or at least i hope so:G

Yes i told them to ship the cardboard box ..

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"I emailed aiptek of germany, and some sites I rather have the cardboard box over the flimsy plastic. but my guess 3face is I am better off taking a vacation, to germany and while thee picking one up for the shipping charges lol

I think I know why. The cardboard box has the remote, tripod and the camera case. I bet if you purchased it from Aiptek.com for $199 you'd get the same case. It's like the deluxe version of the 6800. But that doesn't mean thenormal plastic caseversion won't have 8MP...or does it...nope, definately not :-)
