I guess this means the salesperson who said the MPVR can't be used with a remote was wrong, as we suspected all along.

sg... i will be making another phone call on Monday, and ask that question, if so they should have a record on the camera and know exactly if it can or not use the remote.

if they can fully refund my price with return shipping,

the person might have been left out on that meeting lol

Just recieved information about the remote control.

Aiptek is just about to lose my sale, they say th remote is an addtitional charge and will not come with future camera packaging. so this means the extras offered on the site is a bargain, and they'll make dough on it or have clearance sales when no one buys them.

the second most important question was will it work, they either missed the question or will not say?

I am requesting a repeated reply will this remote work?

Lets see what they say? stay tuned

Dear Customer,

I am an Aiptek representative, not a freelance web designer. Of course the remote works with the MPVR camera. We would not offer it for a camera if it didn't work with it. The remote does not come with the camera standard. It is an accessory that was made directly for the MPVR camera that we offer on our site. Have a good one!

Thank you,

I am a college student that works at Target and in their sunday add they have the MPVR for sale for $98. Is this camera really worth buying? I read your forums and saw the mixed feelings. This camera will be going through a few rough times with me at parties so is it durable enough?

Thanks Lewey S.

Its on sale right now... I am not sure when the sale ends though. It was in the Sunday ad so I assume for this entire week. I bought the camera today and got a rain check for it that lasts 30 days so if its not on sale where you areI can always send it to you. Thanks for the review it helped me with my decision.

That's a great price for an MPVR. Welcome Leweys, and thanks for posting.

Just a caution that the MPVR won't be much use at parties for video unless you have almost office-level lighting brightness.
