As the holiday season approaches. target at customer relations was very helpful. They promised me the camera may go on sale in my area, and I will have to wait it out, when.

1. if they stock it in my local store

2. if it is in the ads

3. that I must be in the state and at the store for purchase

So as for a matched price , i will have to be paitient and wait. i own one i can just pass it by. for those who live in the area. its a steal of a deal.

Well, I have not purchased the AIPTEK MPVR yet, but i told my girlfriend I wanted it for xmas. Hope she got it! I was looking throught the newspaper and saw that they had it on sale for $98 at target (already mentioned by others earlier.) I read the reviews and determined it would be worth it, so i told her if she is gonna get it she should get it now. Dont know if she did or not, as the sell ended today. Hope to be able to add my two cents later after xmas. BTW, the add was in Seattle, WA.

hello, im new here

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"i am thinking of getting the aiptek mpvr but i also have my eye on the canon sd400.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"at CC the aiptek is 180 and for about 100$ more i can get the sd400.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"i wanted the aiptek to record movies because right now i have the canon sd110 which only does 30second clips at vga.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"your review of the aiptek is awesome!

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"which should i spring for? when talking about video recording? seems like both record at the vga and at same frame rate of 30 per sec.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"send reply soon , soon, asap

I see that Aiptek USA is now including the remote on the MPVR bundle. Appears others, besides Fishycomics, thought that for $199 the remote should be included.:G

So, has anyone tested MPVR's remote control unit?

I purchased MPVR plus the remote 2 weeks ago from Aiptek but it still has to be shipped here in our country. Most probably I will receive it first week of December so until then I won't be able to comment if it works great or what.

And now they've included the remote in the bundle?!!!

Hi fishy...

Just want to verify that.
The newer MPVRs being sold by Aiptek has a webcam feature?
Or is it the next release?

the host is talking about a webcam, I have emailed and never recieved an answer I would imagine this to be their next addition to the mpvr.
