The battery is a nokia 8210/8850 phone battery, I purchaced a second one at gogocity.com for 7.99 including shipping. I charged it and it works great. For ac power you can use a powered usb hub not hooked to the computer or ipod usb power adapter that you can find many places including on ebay. I love my mpvr, as they say it is a jack of all trades and a master of none. I got mine on sale at a local target store for $98, and it does everything I need it to do. I bought it to jack into a amp at church to record music. Outdoor photos and video are great, and mp3s sound good.

Hope this helps.

I think there is a photo at the web site I bought it at. The nokia battery does work. You can also find it on ebay. I have a 4 port powered hub and when pluged into it with the hub not hooked to the computer, battery out of the camera, it works great.

the first is a 1200mah at a 80% savings 7.99

the one with the two in the photo is 9.00 at 1000mah on an auction, all can be researched thank you BIGRON. I'll be looking into ordering one if i can find a lil higher mah rating its is mine.

1800mah is what I found in the uk

Fishy,

Can you provide a link to the 1800 MaH battery that fits the MPVR? Does it require any mods, or does it fit right in? How about the stock charger... will it fit that too (and charge correctly)?

TIA,

MPVRr

As I was not the start of the topic on this you may want to ask that person, I do not know, i had bad luck when I got the np-60 battery it was a 1/16 to an 1/8 off I would go into a cell phone store and see it in person, I believe it should work but do not take my word for it?

I like to know that answer myself

Welcome mpvrr name
