Well, the MPVR is a HUGE success with my 12 year old! And we haven't even loaded the software on the computer yet! The controls are very user friendly on the camera, so she picked it up right away. She loves making videos and watching them on the 2.5" screen--it's huge. Of course, it's not the screen resolution I've grown accustomed to, but she doesn't know any better. So now our whole life is videotaped...

The one thing that is odd--and I really haven't had time to fool with it--is that the auto flash keeps turning off. We keep having to go into the menu to turn it on. Any clue on why it's doing that?

Thanks for all the help on this--it's her favorite Christmas gift. The second runner up is the electronic 20 questions game that guesses the item you're thinking about--that one is pretty amazing.

1 joystick . you are hitting it .

move to the left each time will place auto on, forced flash, red eye , off

move to the right will set the wb (white balance). so you do not need to go into the menue of the camera

the camera will remember some functions forexample the stabilizer, the flash, and res. :|
