Please be a little more spicific?

long play =lp would mean low quaility or hugh quality

standard play =sp like above

Ex = extended play

mostly found on a vcr the hybrids use

vga, qvga

stills use hq sq shq

and also 1m 2m 3m etc

otherwise I am guessing?

As there is not a camcorder section here we'll try to answer your question. leaving out the info is guessing

Have you a vcr player? and notice when you record a 2 hour show on a 2 hour tape it looks awesome , but when you tape a 6 hour show on a 2 hour tape it still looks good? not great , good

the camcorder can film in 640x800 720x540 and todays hd 1028 x 720 something like that right?

the lowest setting is a standard the highest setting is the best recording so as long as you record at the highest and save as the extended it'l be like 320x240

it does have some type of affection to it?
