I'm hoping Q of G might do sellthe DDV-520for $299, but that's very optimistic. For video, 3X optical zoom is a little low but it sure beats no optical zoom and will begreat for stills.

I'll have to read the specs on the DDV-750 more closely to see how it compares to the DDV-810 (V1, MPVR) and what features are added or removed. Hopefully, there will be moreinfo out of CES 2006, but hybrids don't usually don't get much coverage fromthe photography/electronics press.

The 750 looks like an M1 with the 720's sensor and no video-in. The 510 and 520 don't list remote controls or image stabilization. The 520 has no close-up mode. The 510 and 520 are quite a bit larger than the current Digilife cameras. The 510 and 520 thankfully have exposure zone control, and other manual controls, and they appear to have improved MP3 players.

Of course, these web sites are notorious for getting the detailed specs wrong. And also of course, the detailed specs are exactly what people like us are very interested in.
