Hey guys,

I was just wondering where you were able to pick one of these ddv 1000's up? I've tried googling it and there's none on ebay. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, how does the video quality of the ddv 1000 compare to a sanyo C5 or C4? I can assume the C5 is the best, but can someone confirm this?

Thanks

th best camera is not the c5 or any camera.

To say what is the best is ruling out other cameras

I bought mine from the UK as I am in the UK.
As far as quality is concerned, It keeps on impressing me. I took it snowboarding and the quality is awesome. The people I have showed the footage too cant get over the quality. These are people who use Sony DV Cams and think it gives better quality over theirs....it really does look good.

Yes fishy, you're right. Howver i just meant in regard to video quality between the ddv100 and the c5, as in "better," but i totally understand what you mean.

Thanks for the comment Nessy, I'm drooling to find a ddv 1000 now,

Oh, and that'd be awesome if we could see those snoboarding clips. I'v been wanting to hit my local mountain for so long now, but just haven't gotten the oppurtunity yet. =( My poor snowboard must be so lonely right now. heheh.

There was a Canadian seller selling a couple of Ispan DDV-920's (same specs as DDV-1000), but he currently has no items for sale.

QueenofGlitter sells Ispan cameras and ships to the US and Canada. Unfortunately, she appearsonly be selling the DDV-910 (same specs as Digilife DDV-M1) at the momment. I have seen one DDV-920 sold by her. It looks like she's trying to clear out her DDV-910 inventory, hopefully, to make room for DDV-920's.:-)

Hopefully, someone else in the USA or Canada will start selling the Digilife DDV-1000.

Update - Q of G cleared out the DDV-910's, but is now auctioningthe DDV-750, Ispan's version of the Digilife DDV-C330entry level hybrid.
