Can you clarify the sync issue with the MPVR incase I decide to return my IS-DV2 and get one instead of these instead? Does this only happen if you set a certain option like nighshot or does it affect any video that is recorded with this device. Also does it only become an issue after a certain length of video has been recorded?

I hope this doesn't mean that *any* video taken with the MPVR has the voice sync issue?

reason for a "hybrid " any hybrid to have issues is its buffer. and its internal flash memory

I believe 32 meg is dedicated to the mpvr and 16 to the buffer and firmware?

you may ask Aiptek that question

Can you send me the info for the firmware upgrade? My MPVR is version 1501. I would like to upgrade mainly to get rid of the orange "image recorded" screen when taking pictures. I love the camera but the only thing I don't like is how long it takes to capture an image. thanks

Thanks for the help. I'm upgraded to 1707 and the pictures come out a lot better since you don't have to hold the camera still for so long anymore.

Your upgrade video is good also. Wish I had watched before I upgraded.
