My Firmware for MPVR, bought, 11/05 at Target, is:

FW 1401
HW 00

This camera has the webcam function. I would be hesitant to change the firmware as I would not want this function to disappear.

Please forgive me if I reposted twice:

I have the orginal Firmware at hand. 1501 hw 00 and 1709 hw 00

I am awaiting my reply fromthe Aiptek staff. I may try to open up the software on the pc and see if I can notice anything different but I am not a pro on that.

You m upgrade at your own risk and go back to the orginal at your own risk

. now What I have asked was apon start up do you get a sloid green light or flicker.

My next step is DId you get this flicker when the camera was brand new and first time use?

Now I have the newest one, and recieved the flicker apon first time start up, and no more afterwards, it is of the camera loading correctly and updating or intializing first time use.

just common observation.

I have tried battery reset, sd card swap, and will keep observing. thank you
