Hello All,

All who own one know that the mpvr did not come with a lens cap. I have found that the white cap that covers the end of a camping propane tank fits nicely with a little help. Just stretch it a little on the back of a rounded broom handle or anything round that size you can put pressure on. It will fit great and snug and very inexpensive. I have posted an image for those who dont camp.

Regards,

Ed

Thanks for the tip. I've also heard other people talk about using big pop bottle caps and chair leg caps. I need to find something for mine!

Thanks for the tip, and welcome ecatman1

Now, if I could just find something as useful to do with the fuel container itself.

Ecatman1

a big elcme too

yes I talked about this with the Aiptek 5300 and also the mpvr the page must be towards the last few lol

I jhave around 10 bottles of those caps lol I will try that, but just be warned.

if the cap is too tight on there what will hapen.

on the 5300 it removed the silver ring and left open th lens sensor.

I believe the MPVR does not have that so you may be okay right now.

excellent find give you the credit for doing a great job

I just found out that the cap to a St Joseph 81mg 36 tablet aspirin bottle fits snap perfect in the MPVR 2K6 camcorder/camera lens lip.

The aspirins are good for heart attack and stroke prevention if taken daily.
