Hello everyone, my name is Adrian and I am from Argentina.

I recently got send a Genius G-Shot DV 1110 (http://www.geniusnet.com.tw/product/....asp?pdtno=642 ), wich, I figured out,has the same internal machine as the iSpan DVV-910 (both have the same manual). Besides, the case of the Genius is just the same of the Vivitek Dragon 7. I guess these three cameras are the same.

The problems with my DV 1110:

1) When uploading a file bigger than 7 or 8 MB, it begins ok, but then the progress bar stops working and the camera shuts down. Sometimes de file left in the camera is incomplete, and sometimes everything in the camera memory is erased (!). This is the same problem other user has with his DVV-910 (http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=92).
The problem is always the same, uploading to the internal memory or to SD Card.

2) My camerahas just 16 MB internal memory instead of the 32 MB it should. Maybe this is related to the previous problem.

Is there a way to upgrade the firmware? I tried to check my firmware with the method published in this forum for the DVV-M1, but I cannot make it work. The soft in the Genius (the same of the DVV-910) seems to be different.
I hope someone can give me some advice (and nop,I canĀ“t return the camera).
Thanks for reading.

Lets hope some of the Members owning these can answer a simple question?

have you contacted by email, phone, and letter? Firmware from another camera will not work. but checking may do so.

sd card have you tried a different brand?

and the full internal memory is not dedicated to storage , some are needed for buffer and firmware. sorry I am not helpful this time round

last resort isto retire the camera if all else fails.
