Help me buy.

Which is better 8800 or 8900. I want both still camera and camcorder to work fine than other. Based on reviews i find 8800somewhat better. Help me with detailed diffrence between the two.

Ok I just bought one of these (like 5 mins ago on ebay) and hopefully will be picking it up today. I have read just about EVERY post and snippet of info about these hybrid things and I hope I've made the right decision. Mind you looking at the pics produced by ajousse I think I'm onto a good thing.

Great site and great advice.

This is a GREAT camera. I've been taking vids of my two boys playing on their swing set and the resultant video is fantastic. I'll go out on a limb and say the output is better than the JVC GR-D53 I just got rid of.

One question. Can this unit take a 2GB SD card?

If the camera you have is the Aiptek 8800, it will take a 2G SD card. I just got mine last week with a 2G Sandisk SD and it works perfectly.
