I'll send you the firmware only if it is a 1700 and below you may load it up if its in the 1900 plus do not load it up

look in the Pm.

A) was this a new camera? if yes return it

B) was it a ebay item and stated new? if so contact ebay

C) was thisa e-online store Purchase contact the place

D) if Purchased and have reciept contact by phone Aiptek, request a newversion

below is a gif animated this is how it is supposed to look , all I can say is see if the inner ring or lens is not obstructed, get your receipt go back to target with the old one as if it were purchasedwithin the 90 day limit I am not saying to buy a new on and echange the old one for a refund.

did you load in the firmware as i mentioned? if not then I think your sensor may have burnt out.

did you try contacting Aiptek you still have a 1 year warranty?

Are you still able to go to the other modes (Playback, MP3, Voice, Setting). If yes, then Fishy is probably right that your imager died. If you can't then flashing the firmware might work if it somehow software related.

I guess this is one of the risks we take with an economy camera. But its still an excellent bargain IMHO.

Good luck.

we will find out soon I hope it was sent the firmware?

but as I own 3 of the same Mustek 4500 I see thescreen lite up, no welcome to fast for my eyes I guess, and blank. all of the settings. it does work on the tv.

so like I am repeating

1 try your av tv playback if you see it working you got a burnt sensor

1 4500 is good stuff I care about keeping in perfect shape

1 in my car

the other well uh parts lol
