Yeah, I saw that earlier this month around Father's day. Too bad they didn't offer colored casesfrom the start. Maybe Aiptek is getting bigger.

They still have it at their other site: http://www.2fidelity.com/

I've noticed that the fidelity site usually has the bargainsbefore the main site. I wonder if it's their outlet store.

It seems like every model keeps getting closer to perfect. I love my MPVR, but why did they take out some of the cooler features for the new optical zoom model (no video in, no webcam)? Now they let you charge from the USB but you can't use it as a webcam. (Take out the useless stuff like the picture frames and2-in-1 modes that you can do post processing.) Does anyone know if the nightshot has improved any? I saw they added a couple LED's.

My solution for night video was to stick the MPVR in a fanny pack and use a cheap wireless nanny cam. (Poor man's version of the Samsung SC X210L) Also good for putting on a RC car, for inspecting air ducts or under the house (Blech).

So it's true? The Zoom DV with optical zoom will not have an AV-IN feature? I didn't notice it in the specifications. Well, that really stinks!

16 meg its a nice one. I am sure it's all software interpolated. Why Would you want anything over a standard 3 megapixal non interpolated camera?

1. 3 megapixal is fime for all 8x10 shots withou cropping.

2 6 megapixal is all you'll ever need with cropping.

so what plesure would you get with 5 megapixal non enahancement and explode with cameras internal 11 megapixal interpolated pixaling?

this is off topic,to the Aiptk Dv6800,8800 series, but relates to the same design
