I've recently purchased the Take It Microtek MV 500. Stills quality is perfect.

Video quality is poor a red type haze on every shoot.

Colors are not sharp and clear either.

Loaded cd software supplied went in ok!

Playing back through Dell P4 Latitude laptop with xp pro

Ulead video studio doesn't seem to help.

Can anybody help?

Thanks

!st welcome to the site Sorry i believe very few people talk or own this particular model it kinda almost loos like the Dxg from radioshack or digilife.

1 Below is from the support center. I would contact the support center, and ask if your camcorder is defective in any way. see below

2. is this a brand new camcorder?

3 have you done any test vids?

4. are the functions or settings corrctly on

Well these are some of my questions that may be of help, but again your best bet is to contact and se if themain source can help

ask them fora firmware upgrade, a return due to defect. or what function may be stuck. we'll wait for a member that may have one but highly not . as I keep a tab or close ee since day one.

see if you have a saphire mode that may give a tint to your vid. possably a setting is stuck on.

Thanks for your rapid response.

The mv500 is brand new purchased from Ebay Australia. with a 12 month guarantee

that appears as good as the Vid quality.

I've contacted the manufacturers on 2 occasions by email.

Sadly they give the impression of being totally disinterested.

They advise they are unable to give any support outside the US

I'm in Melbourne Australia.

Yes I have sample vids.

All settings have been tried in PAL & NTSC in 50 & 60HZ

Cheers from OZ:?

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"1. you have made a Purchase on Ebay , and that is not a store at all it is a reslers world. people claim the goods are brand new, trusted, and you must believe that they are.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"My suggestion is not to Contact the Support then , but ContactEbay Seller and explain to them that you got a defective item, that you wouldlike an exchange or a full refund. If Ebay seller does not help Place what I do not like to do a despute in on the Seller. and get the problem resolved.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"2. As the company isnot supported outside of the USA. find that in writing? speak to them over a phone, rather then an email. I do notaccept that as an answer if I purchase this item. and again it all oes back to question 1. Ebay.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"3. sample vids.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"how were these vids taken. if these vids were indoor at a low light or ..........

look at the lens see if there is not a lens protective film on there . some forget to remove this item.

hope you find a solution

always replace and resell that's my option to you.
