I got a new Digilife DDV-1000 and was extremely excited about how good it felt in my hands and how great I thought the pictures would look... Something went wrong... When I went to upload the pictures onto my computer every single picture and video had serious tearing and color distortions... I wish I knew what was going on...

Here's some Examples... (low med high qualities)

omg

look at the flicker what is it set on Pal or ntsc?

1 format sd card 2x in pc then in camera 2x andtry again a shot

2. check camera set if on pal overseas 50 htz

or ntsc Usa 60htz That only has to do with playback on pc?

3 remove from camera and i think you mentioned that and see if it loads different ?

I can think of is the sensor is history?

Just some helpful tips.

If all else fails contact person request new one.

This really Depresses me... I formatted the SD card on pc twice and on camera, Made sure it was set to NTSC60hz, ... and the pictures are still corrupted... uggh! Have you ever seen this before?

and tried taking the pictures off the 16mb built in memory... so it's not the SD card I did notice that there was more picture that wasn't corrupted on the lower quality photos though... what could this mean?

It's still not working properly... I got it from 3cdigital on ebay, i'll be contacting him about this issue.

Not near any magnetic fields and the camera is brand new, the very first picture I took was corrupted...

I figured it out... USB2.0 was enabled but USB2.0 HDD wasn't enabled on my Mobo. It's fixed now though... One question.... Know where I can get the Webcam drivers for it?

Thanks again!
