Opinion Needed on Scanner for Prints
I do not currently own a flatbed scanner, although my Epson Artison 730 all-in-one seems to do a fine job (scanning at 800 dpi, and high compression JPG). It is very slow at that DPI, of course.
I would not hesitate to get a dedicated scanner if I knew it would do better (at least faster) than what I have, and if didn't cost a fortune. I am looking at the Epson V600. Does anyone have an opinion on whether or not I would notice an appreciable difference between the Artisan 730 all-in-one (for scanning) and the Epson V600?
I have many, many photos I need to scan, so a time difference could be huge. I do not need to scan negatives or slides.
Any help is appreciated.
