Default scanning Kodachrome medical images

I will purchase a slide scanner for Kodachromes of medical images (Dermatology) soon and am looking for a way to scan my collection without having to color correct each image. I would appreciate suggestions of scanners, software, and specific technques. Thanks.

as far as doing the cc on kodachrome i havent needed to do really anything more than tweak the brightness/contrast using a Nikon Coolscan 4000ED. that can be set up in the programming if you intend to use the bulk scanning method (sf-200 slide feeder).

the coolscan 4000ed is the closest thing to a drum scanner available right now.

since kodachrome has the longest lasting color like over 100 yrs turn off digital ICE. you cannot improve on it. it will also speed your scanning.
