I also use the HP program... it works great, making all the pix borderless. It does three 4X6's, four 3.5X5's, two 5X7's, one 8X10 or a whole sheet of wallet sized pix from a single 81/2 X 11 sheet of paper.

Another good one is a shareware program called Photo Paper Saver. You can download and try it from the Web.

I spent some money on a good Friskars paper cutter. It paid for itself in the first couple of months in money saved on good quality paper.

Default Qimage

The ideal program is Qimage; free 30 day trial and $39.95 if you want to activate it. You should have gotten the good easy to use HP photo printing program with your printer, but if you want the best and most flexible, try Qimage. The link is http://www.ddisoftware.com/qimage/demo.htm . Both programs will do 3 - 4x6 on an 8.5x11 sheet.

Most definitely with Qimage! Try it and you won't use anything else. I often print 3, 4x6s on a single sheet and cut them up with a paper cutter. Had no problems keeping the cut straight.

Also, if they are give away prints, I do 4, 4x5s on a sheet. This is the most optimum in terms of not wasting paper. Most people that get my prints don't frame them anyway so a 4x5 'odd' size isn't that bad.

Then again I pay $0.20 a sheet for Epson Glossy at Costcos.
