Try searching here:
http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/ or here: http://www.sofotex.com/download/Multimedia/Video/ This is the software I use but I have never converted anything to .mov . Why don't you go to the easier .avi format? Try using the free Windows Movie Maker that is part of Windows XP SP2. http://www.riverpast.com/en/support/...rt/wmv/mov.php |

1. Video editing software always needs plenty of "buffer" space to process your video files. It's a good practice to have at least a 100gb HD for your main drive and at least a 250gb for your data drive. Then perhaps a 300 to 500gb external backup drive. And never let them get more than 60% full. These are MINIMUMS.
2. I somehow doubt that ronpete would knowingly recommend a download which would deliver a virus to you. I'm sure you have a good updated antivirus/anti spyware program running on your PC.... right? |

No it is not infected with a virus. If it were, do you really think I would recommend downloading it? If you are in doubt about any file, always scan it first. I'm a moderator on Ulead's Help forum, and this is one of the Utilities we recommend for converting video files. It does a great job, and will convert about any type of file.
If just because it is free, means that it may be virus riddle, then don't download anything provided over the internet. There are numerous programs that are free, that once fee based, Picasa is one. I purchaed that program for $50 when it was first released. Right Hemisphere's Deep Paint program is now free, where it used to cost over $500. Sorry I tried to help... ![]() shooting_rubber wrote: Quote:
