Anyone use close-up filters on thier Kodak P850?
Debating whether I "need" them or not, lol :?

I don't use any Nik but that isn't my favorite thing. I've seen some very good ones from folks that have them on their P850's.

I have a set of +1, +2 and +4 c/u filters I bought for my 880. I haven't really done too much yet with them. You can use them one at a time or in combination to get different amounts of magnification. I'll try to take some shots and post them soon.

As requested, here are a series of shots of a guitar with just lens at closest distance, then with +1, +2, +4 and then all 3 together. Hope this helps a bit.

(Boy, do these shots show how NOT to do product photography - unwanted reflections of photographer, visible dust and dirt, yecch)

Here's a 'group' shot for comparison.
