Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm considering on buying a SanDisk Ultra II SD Card - 512MB which has a write speed of 60x. Does anyone know what the write speed to a memory card is for the DX6490?? Will this SD Card be compatible with my DX6490?? I have tried the Kodak support site for info, but had no luck. The only info i got off other sites, when comparing Kodak's own SD cards, were that they have a max write speed of 32x. Anyone?? Thanks in advance, |

Yup,,,it`s a lot lower than that,,basically buying a fast card for the 6490 is a waste of money,,you`ll only gain when using a card reader to download your pics from the card, the camera will not write fast enough to make use of it......
Of course it`s still not a bad idea getting a fast card though,,,because if/when you upgrade cameras later,,,your next camera will definately be faster,,,,newer cameras are almost always upgraded to be faster.... But if you want to save a few bucks get 2 slower cards as they are cheap now.. Brian |
