UPS dropped off my Kodak 0.7x Wcon and Kodak Medium Camera Bag today. So I just had to go out and immediately take a couple of test pics.:-) The front of this lens element is huge though, wasn't quite expecting it to be that big.

Here's a quick couple pictures from outside my front door this afternoon (very cloudy day) to show the differences of the P850 with and without Kodak's 0.7x wide angle converter lens. The pictures have not been cropped, just re-sized to 800 x 600 for web posting, and no post-processing.
Note that Photobucket resized my pics from 800 x 600 when I uploaded them.

1st pic - *without* Wcon and full wide-angle (36mm):

2nd pic - *with* Wcon and full wide-angle (25.2mm):

It's nice to note that there's no vignetting appearing on the P850 at full wide-angle and the Wcon! :-)Some user's pictures of Kodak's P880 at the full 24mm wide angle showed some vignetting in them.

Thanks Rambler385 to post your pictures. Very interesting! I'm never saw how looks the P850 with converter. You able to take a picture? Use a mirror, thats should be working!
Thanks nugget

Ron I love the car!! Send one soon!! LOL Nice photo's. I have the schnieder wide angle and at the widest angle with the DX6490 I get some vignetting especially at the top right hand side!

Rambler358, nice sample, #2 photo also look brighter
I'm still considering to buy P850, do you ever try to take with ISO 400? is the noise level visible at ISO400?
Thanks/Armadillo

Dawg - sure, send the check and the car's on its way! :blah:

Armadillo - "sw2cam" had pics of both the Kodak Wcon and Olympus Tcon mounted on the P850 somewhere, perhaps he can re-post those pics, or direct you to where they are?

Rambler358, thanks for your info.
Yesterday actually I went to one of the shop and try out this P850, also try couple of shots with ISO 400, the noise level seem still acceptable.
But hv 1 more question, since P850 don't hv AF assist light, any problem if you take photo in low light environment?

The P850 has a low-light sensor which helps in low-light shooting. If you use a large aperature and slow shutter, you can get some really good low light shots. There have already been some P850 low light pics posted around here and on dpreview.com.
