Works pretty nice in wide angle mode but remember wide angle for it is 38mm (barely WA).

Focus is pretty good (set it to spot focus to give it a little help).

For web use you can use the ASA200 and Neat image to clean up the noise. An external flash helps a lot. I'm afraid all my shots are with a flash so I can't give you any examples.

If you want wide angle for indoorphotography, you need this kind of set-up.

Honest, there is a DX6490 under there.

This add-on lens reduces the zoom to a mere 26.6mm, so for indoor photography it works well.

The only problem is, the built in flash is completey useless with the lens on, so that's why an external flash is used. (the added bonus is I can use burst mode and get the flash to fire on all six shots - very handy for taking pictures of my puppy in action)

I'll post some test shots soon.

All the best.

I use a Sunpak 383 on a bracket with a Lumiquest Softbox attached to it. It tends to flatter people a little more than a raw harsh flash.

Here is a shot I did of the Coors Light Twins using that arrangement...
