Well another stormy night in Kansas. I took the P880 outside and managed a few more decent shots.. Hope you enjoy them..

You should have been here Boiley..Wow, I was even getting quite nervous. The lightning was flying so fast and quick, I would miss at least 10 while the camera was processing. Some were too close for compfort..
In Pic#1, that little bitty bolt off to the right of the main one... Well I couldn't have been more then 100 yrds away. That bolt started between me and the far side of the road, which is 150 ft. Thanks Ron |

Wow man, those are spectacular! #1 and #5 are my fav., I love how spread out #5 is!
Yeah we keep hearing on the news about these powerful storms moving through the midwest and dropping twisters everywhere... May sound strange, but it'd be kinda nice to have some storms here! Hasn't been raining much in july/august, all the rain is heading north or south of us, we're almost bone dry in central VA! Mandatory water restriction is about to start... Plus there haven't been too many storms with good lightning for me to take pics of! ![]() Have you done any post processing on these? If you shot them in RAW, great! you can make some adjustments, tone down the lightning so you can get some cool detail on it! |

The only thing I've done is resized them. I didnt shoot them in RAW. I don't have Photoshop, and will not reinstall Kodak's stuff, just to work with RAW. I've only been shooting a 5.0MP, basically to lessen the process time between shots.
