All in all I have been rather impressed with the IQ (image quality) of the new Kodak Z-712. Is anyone interested in getting a Z-712 Photo Gallery started.

Yes, I am. Where would we put it? Could you run it? I'd hope to learn from a gallery how to usethe new machineproperly. I'm finding new bits to explore(such as high ISO) all the time, by accident, and from others.

Here's a full-size clip I got on my first trip out with it. I was driving out of the gate in my campervan when I spotted the bees on the rhododendron. I scrunched to a halt, leapt out, leant with my back on the van, and my feet on the garden retaining wall at the foot of the bush, and got it at 222mm, 1/1024s, f/3.6. I'm sure I couldn't have held that steady with any other camera I've had when in such an awkward posture.

I'd be interested in such a gallery even though I couldn't contribute.
