It was remarkable value at 180 ukpounds, including delivery, in the middle of November. The 'UK' call centre was in S.Africa, and their bank was in Geneva, Switzerland. I found this out because their call centre, their bank and my bank had trouble communicating, so I had to phone them (free). Nevertheless, it was delivered about 4 daysafter ordering. While on holiday in our camper van, away from mains power, I shall continue to use my pair of rechargeable CR-V3 Li-ion batteries in the Z1012, as I have a 12V/mains charger for them. Both the KLIC-8000 and the rechargeable CR-V3 work perfectly well in either the Z712 or the Z1012. I have an inverter to provide 240V power in the van, but it's a nuisance to use, so I only use it for camcorder batteries. |

I am a newbie
cooperation to the level of my capabilities... Buy a Kodak Z1015IS I had a z712IS I have mixed feelings with my new camera.. strange speed image processing Z712IS, I do not understand why this Z1015IS delay in processing an image.. ¿you think you can solve this little problem of processing speed? I am fond of aviation, using the Z712 to capture images of military aircraft, it could fire shots in a continuous way. when I took a shot with the image processing Z1015IS while I can not focus or following a shoot-making as the camera takes to process the image. to take a photograph with Z1015is, I can not make a next picture, the delay in processing the camera image, use the new firmware 1.03 and still is slow, wide angle is excellent and vivid colors , pero extraño el disparo continuo de la z712is  excuse my bad English, writing from the distant Peru. Sample images Kodak Z1015IS ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I like my photos I expect to see how it lines up with military aircraft. thanks |

Lovely pictures!
You probably need to steer clear of all the automatic modes, if you want rapid processing, and good 'burst' performance. The burst modes on my Z1012 are a lot worse than the Z712, presumably because of the larger image and file size. I have a Z712 and a Z1012, so I have no first-hand experience of the Z1015. The Z712 is an excellent camera, as you probably know. So if you still have it, why not use it use it for demanding applications like aircraft, while you do some experiments with the 1015 and find out what it will and won't do? From what I can see, my Z1012 is much slower in its fully automatic modes than in the P, A, S, M modes, so you could try these modes on your Z1015. I'm generally happy with my Z1012. A few things on it have been made worse than the Z712, but the image quality is usually better on the newer model. Good luck. |

i sold my Z712IS
The Z712Is is the only model that comes to Peru. Model is sold as the newest Kodak They do not sell battery Klic 8000 They do not sell Charger Just sell CRV-3 battery In Peru CRV-3 has a cost of 13 dollars .....although the model has a year and half in the Peruvian market These were the reasons for sale Z712IS in Peru has a cost of $ 510. Alan T, follow your recommendation, try to get to the Z1012IS but had disappeared from the shops. I ran the risk, opt for Z1015 beautiful photography only inconveniences cited had no time to wait for the Z012IS These are not complaints. I only have to get used to this new model. a friend brought Z1015s of eeeuu. 8500 K a Kodak battery charger included. Sand Disk Memory Utra II Class 4. All for 323 dollars, I happily. I do not want to imagine the cost of Z1015IS in Peru obviously when it is available in some years more jiji thanks for your patience PD: with time, take more photos Gc |

I bought the Z1015 for the wife as a BD present prior to going on vacation, so that she could get used to some of the functions
Personally - I would have the camera as I use the "N" brand We were in bear country - trying to take multiple shots was UNacceptable - just sit and wait and wait on processing by the time processing was complete ? action was already gone - tried diff modes with and without the card to NO avail . IF it were Mine? it would go under the tire on my dump truck - Maybe now I can convince her to move up to a real camera . Quality of picts was OK IT'S JUST THE LONNG WAIT ON PROCESSING that is useless .....te |
