Beautiful photograph Andy. I like taking photos of them on the limbs. It just looks more natural...The formula is the correct one too. I use it also.

I like to see them in a natural resting state like that also Dawg. Some people dont think they send time resting but of course they do. Also some beleive that feed on just necter but they need protein also. If I remember right I think its 40 percent bugs and 60 percent necter. I once watched a hummer dart in amongst a swarm of gnats and start picking them off. I guess they eatlots of tiny spyders also. andy74

I sure hope you get to see some Bursie. they are a rel interesting bird and real fiesty also. Hummers are quite agressive towards each other and I have heard them slap wings in contact. They tolerate people well though and dont seem to mind being around us. I believe they realize who is puting the necter in their feeders andy74

Good thing Andy because those Cardinals are very shy and that's what I really like. I'm going to go and get a feeder tomorrow. Hopefully have pics soon when they find out food is there.
