Greetings,
If you have a lens adapter from Kodak, then it is resetting the thread requirement to 55mm. be sure the accessories you buy fit that format or lens size. Regrettably, Kodak does not offer any closeup lenses of that size. Talk to you soon, Ron Baird Eastman Kodak Company |

Hello Ron
![]() I have a Kodak/55mm and a Raynox/52mm I have seen some super close ups on the Panasonic site of flies and other insects where they are using a raynox snap on close up lens but one fello said the camera must have manual focus. I read a e-mail from Amazon where they mentioned they had a 10x close up lens to screw into my dx7590's aux. lens tube made of several elements. A Opteka 10x HD2 Professional Macro lens for Kodak Easy share z7590 dx7590. I have a opteka aux fish eye lens that is not too bad (a nice toy for a big boy). BiLL :

Bill I don't recomend Opteka to anyone. Glad your flash is alright but their lenses are usually crap!
Try these at B&H........ 37mm http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...goryNavigation 55mm http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...goryNavigation Dawg |

Hey B. Dawg
I have one of their aux fish eye lenses that is nice (round image but flat top and bottom) This close up sounds good. It is a 4 element 10x. Worth taking a look at, not a aux tele. I tried a +4 and the auto focus kept going in and out. Maybe I was too close. BiLL :

Hi Bill,
Guess it is your choice. I have not used those lenses but if they fit using your adapters, and the images are to your liking, you have a winner. I would be sure to look around to see what else might be out there, and also use the lenses only when you need them. The less you have in the light path the better, Kodak or not. Enjoy, Bill, talk to you soon. Ron Baird Eastman Kodak Company |

Not bad Bill but I have used some of their lenses on a P850 and they did suck...way soft on the outer edges and not clear focused! The friend that bought them wound up sending them back and getting a TCON-17 and a Schneider wide angle...He says he doesn't regret the extra money because at least these work!!

For the price it's o.k. With a little photo elements they improve some. I always favored wide angle photography over telephoto. Telephoto is for looking in windows while wide angle is for looking at the whole building. Nothing more than "a nice toy for a big boy" BiLL :
