It is definately a scam, the first and easiest way to figure this out is by looking at the FAQ's on Paypal.com. It says that you will NEVER beREQUIRED to click a link before logging in and it tells you NEVER to click a link and type in your login info. Always go to your address bar and manually type: www.paypal.com to go to their site. Secondly, you can always go to your paypal (not by clicking the link) and look at your information and check to see if that email is, in deed, added... I can 99.99% guarentee that it is not.

Yup, thats what I thought too !
I still love the e-mails from Nigerian concerns ( been receiving them from other country scams too). A few months ago there was a article in Readers Digest about a musician down on his luck and thought this would get him back on his feet. He ended going to Nigeria payng bribes and just falling deeper into his bottomless pit of "the easy solution". BiLL:| Just thought I should post it as there may be others that use paypal and may fall for this scam. ![]() |

Bill, I'm on "PayPal's" list too. I keep getting e-mails from them that I haven't paid for something, that I haven't sent an item to someone that has purchased something, that my account may have been used by a 3rd party -- the list goes on and on and on. Oh, but I have won lotteries from Switzerland, the U.K. and the whole country of Europe ! ! ! Now you know that's gotta be real ! LOL

I kind of like reading these bogus e-mails. This month I have been getting them from banks that want me to confirm my account information. I have also been getting offers to meet some sleezy Russian ladies too. It's like reading the headlines of the pulp news papers while you are on line at the supermarket.
Life goes on, and on and on! BiLL :| |
