Today I received the Kodak C-875 camera that I purchased on www.E-Bay.com. You are probably scratching your head and asking yourself: "Why a Kodak C-875 camera?"
Well, the C-875 was the last Kodak camera to use the P-880 imager. It was coupled with a Schneider 5X optical zoom lens. Among long time Kodak users, the C-875 is a highly regarded camera. Your next question is:"How does it work?" So far, just fine in all respects, which is pretty good for a $(US)23.00 investment. It is fun having a piece of Kodak history. Wow, at that price it's cost/performance ratio is off the charts. When it was a current camera I almost talked my wife into letting me buy her one but she couldn't abide with no eye level/optical VF.

I actually gave away for free my first C-875 to a friend. But I still hankered after that camera, which is a bit of Kodak History. So, when I saw a chance to grab it on www.ebay.com, I did just that. And I am glad that I did. Sarah Joyce |
