Sorry, but it's difficult to post a 12MP image on any free photo hosting sites.
Anyway I am not a Kodak salesman or professional photographer or sample maker and I think I'll just let you guys judge (or guess) the PQ at 12MP ![]() It was by accident that I bought the z1275. My earlier Kodak v550 had some problem (lense could not retract) the other day. But I need to take videos of an important gathering. So I just rushed to the shop and randomly picked the Z1275 (of course I had confidence in Kodak's MPEG4 video). Before the purchase I didn't even know the existent of z1275. But the PQ and features surprised me, and I think I may share my findings with you guys. I think I've already tried to post the largest size possible (1000 x 750) 1. Editor = ACDSee 5 2. Resize ONLY without any enhancements or noise reductions 3. Need to SaveAs at about 60% JPEG quality to meet Steve's 250KB size limit. So I think if I could SaveAs 100% quality, there would be even more details in the pictures. |

For an example, see http://forums.steves-digicams.com/fo...mp;forum_id=18. The 5th image in that thread is a straight crop, the others are resized. Happy shooting! Alan T |

Thankyou Alan for the suggestions!
But I want to "share" the pics of z1275, more than to "demo" it's quality at the moment. Maybe a full-res crop later. So here again another day-time picture of the earlier foot bridge. This time, I stepped a little bit backward to compensate for the not so wide lens. BTW, I just recalled that z1275 has a "stitching" function. Maybe I'll learn and try it later to take panorama views |

I thought this camera was plain mpeg4 rather than h264 version of Mpeg4, is there any confirmation of what type it is?

When I open the movie file by VLCplayer, the Stream Info window just says:
codec=mp4v, without mentioning the details. |

I got my Kodak z1275 yesterday and would like to share with some very firstvideos from this camera. Overall the quality of photos is well and Hd-video is not so bad as I expected. If you have some questions, ask me.
