I agree and don't at the same time, but in the edits, the flower is black and in the original it's not, you can actually see the colour of the plant...

Any of the edits would be valid, IMO.
In mine, the plant has a wispy look because that is how it might look in the bright, reflected sun towards the end of the day. A time of day when activities are winding down and the mood becomes serene. Of course, what I might intend and how other people might react could be quite different. :-) |

It's all in the perception and how the Artist ..in this case YOU wanted to show what you saw or your interpretation of what you saw! And my perception says the first one speaks to me in a way the others just don't! But then that is MY perception!
